I radically changed my eating habits in August 2017. That change and the things I’ve learned about myself since then are the source of inspiration for this site and the content you will find here.
I’m updating this page on March 21, 2018. If you look back through my posts prior to that date and compare them to the posts after that date, I expect you will notice a shift in my focus and in the direction I’m heading with this site.
I’ve spent far too long in an unhealthy relationship with food. Starting now, I’m rewriting the terms of that relationship. I’m on a mission to find a way of eating that meets ALL of my needs. I don’t want to spend my life on a diet or afraid of a particular food. I’m done feeling guilty for enjoying my food and wanting it to taste good. Instead of following someone else’s rules, I’m figuring out what works for me. Along the way, I’ll share what I learn with you. If it resonates, I hope you’ll let me know. There is work to be done but we don’t have to do it alone.
On this site, I intend to share:
- My reflections on whatever is calling to me. I imagine they will mostly be generally related to wellness but I won’t guarantee it.
- Tasty ideas for cooking food. Recipes and simple food group specific ideas are all fair game.
- Tools and resources for cooking and life in general. If I recommend something, it’s because I’ve tried it and liked it. You might too.
- Wildtree products and recipes. In collaboration with my wife, I am grateful to be an independent representative with Wildtree. I love the company and the products they put out into the world. It’s safe to say that I use Wildtree products at least once per day. If you would like to learn more about Wildtree and work with Christi and I, here’s how:
Thank you for being here. I hope you’ll join me on this journey to a healthier and more flavorful existence. Let’s create this well-seasoned life together.
